Every Thursday is Quiz Night - Starts 9:00 pm Thursday nights at Longton VM are synonymous with fun, excitement, and a battle of wits at our famous quiz night! Join us for an evening filled with general knowledge, music, and a dash of sporty trivia, all hosted by our brilliant quiz master, Andrew. The quiz kicks off at 9:00 pm, so make sure to head down early to secure a table. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and with our popularity, early arrival is essential to guarantee your spot. Longton VM proudly boasts the best pub quiz in the Longton area. Our questions are crafted to be just tricky enough to challenge your general knowledge, keeping you on your toes, yet with a few thrown in that everyone can enjoy answering. Saturday 24 January Burns Supper / Ceilidh Dance Join us for a memorable Burns Supper and Ceilidh Dance — an evening that blends tradition, community spirit, and lively entertainment. We’ll gather to honour the life and works of Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns, with all the warmth and ceremony this much‑loved occasion deserves. The night begins with a traditional Burns Supper, complete with the piping‑in of the haggis, the famous Address, and a hearty meal inspired by classic Scottish fare. Expect laughter, toasts, and a few surprises as we celebrate the wit, poetry, and legacy of the Bard.
