Transcript Sep: 25th 1926 Dear Sir I am very much obliged & wish to thank both the Committee and yourself for the invitation you sent me last evening to the special entertainment at Dinner this evening in order to distribute the Bowling Club Prizes. I am very sorry however to say that the ‘Neuritis’ in one of my legs has been very bad today and am afraid all the pleasure would be spoiled - so on that account I am obliged to decline, at the same time I hope you will all have a pleasant time, especially the the Prize Winners.
