School Bowling

Over the past few years we have hosted an inter- schools bowling tournament involving our local primary schools, kindly sponsored by Kevin Hunt from Spar (Longton/Walmer Bridge). Yr 6 pupils after their sats are taught the basics of bowling and following a couple of practice sessions hold a round-robin bowling competition. This year as a club we are involved with All Hallows Catholic High School, with a small group of year 10 boys, being given tuition and learning the rules of the game.
