OUR VISION is “to establish Longton VM as a popular modern local venue set in attractive surroundings that welcomes people and groups of all ages, abilities and interests through a range of sporting and social facilities and activities, and provided in a comfortable and safe environment thereby creating a friendly, supportive and active community spirit and sense of belonging.”
Longton VM is a friendly and vibrant venue for people looking to meet-up with friends whether for a private party, live entertainment such as live group or comedy evening, film night, weekly quiz or just a quiet drink. With two modern lounges including modern function suite and kitchen for exclusive use, ground floor disabled access, public bar with snooker table and two bowling greens, Longton VM is the ideal venue for people to relax and enjoy themselves in modern and comfortable surroundings with plenty of free parking. We also offer a varied range of events and activities for Members and non-Members alike, some of which are provided by other local organisations who also use this popular venue. Spar Junior School Bowling Trophy The annual junior bowling competition sponsored by Longton Spar was won this year by Longton Primary “B” with St Oswald`s “A” as Runners-Up. Thanks also to the teachers and volunteers who helped both weeks.
